Inspiring you to be more grateful each day

Happy International Women’s Day! πŸ™‚

My newsletter today is slightly different.
I’d like to share this open letter to all women.

If you’re a woman, this is for you.
If you’re a man, this will give you a peak at how women are. Hehe!

An Open Love Letter to Women

#InternationalWomensDay

My dear fellow woman,

Today, March 8, is International Women’s Day.

I want to send this love letter to you to remind you who you are at your core.

There is so much beauty, goodness, love, joy, calmness, and courage in you.

You are the pinnacle of God’s creation. (Men, you are, too!)

There are two key messages I want to share in this letter.

First, let me share with you where I am.

I’m writing this in one of the most beautiful luxurious 5-star resorts in the Maldives.

My room is so huge and beautiful, I spent a good amount of time just taking all the beauty in.

It feels like a dream, I had to pinch myself.🀩

There’s a space for my future husband. “Can’t wait to travel with you, my love!” Okay, I was just practicing. Hahaha! *wink wink

My β€œwork” here in the Maldives was to give a 30-minute keynote at a huge convention

attended by no less than their country’s First Lady and their Vice President.

I was amazed at how the organizers flew me from the Philippines to the Maldives,

booked me in one of the best hotels in the city where the convention was,

booked me for 5 days in a 5-star resort complete with breakfast, lunch, dinner,

laundry services, my own bike, and unlimited ice cream. Yes, the ice cream is important πŸ˜

They’ve been treating me like a VIP.

Photo 1: Me at the ice cream place right after breakfast. πŸ™‚

This is how I move around the resort. I bike! πŸ™‚

The organizers saw my value and they went thru all the extent they went thru to bring me to their country.

… which reminds me of Lent.

God bought us at a high price, His own life. Woah!!!

Is there anything greater than that? We are so valuable in His eyes.

We are His beloved princesses πŸ‘Έ

You are so valuable Someone gave His own life for you!

This now brings me to my first message.

Message #1: Know your worth.

You are beautiful, valuable, lovable, precious.

Let that sink in, my friend.

Let me share a few suggestions on how God’s Princess β€” a royalty like you β€” ought to be treated:

πŸ›‘ STOP

πŸ›‘ allowing others to treat you poorly

πŸ›‘ living a mediocre life

πŸ›‘ talking badly towards yourself

πŸ›‘ talking badly about another person behind his/her back. Your time and energy are too valuable for low-value activities like backbiting.

πŸ›‘ chasing love from other people. You don’t need to convince anyone to love you. If they can’t see your worth, let them be. The ‘right’ person will ‘see you.’

πŸ›‘ being so hard on yourself

πŸ›‘ being in a relationship or situationship with that jerk!

πŸ›‘ spending too much time on social media. There are so many other exciting and fun things to do other than viewing well-curated, fake projections on social media.

START βœ…

βœ… Going after your dreams

βœ… Being kind, loving, and compassionate to yourself

βœ… Allowing yourself to explore, make mistakes, and grow

βœ… Forgiving yourself for all the mistakes you’ve made in the past. If you’re a Catholic, go for confession.

(I go for confession once a month)

βœ… Taking time to do inner work and healing β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

βœ… Standing up and speaking up for yourself

βœ… Pampering yourself from time to time

βœ… Writing down your strengths and celebrating them

βœ… Facing your insecurities and telling yourself, β€œI choose to love you no matter what”

βœ… Creating a safe space for yourself to feel all your emotions

βœ… Being there for yourself

βœ… Reading a good book, attending a seminar, hiring a coach…

βœ… Acknowledging your strengths

βœ… Finding joy and fun everyday

βœ… Finding your purpose and living it

What would you like to add to the list?

When there is so much love and joy in your heart, you overflow and you can’t help but share them with others. – Sha Nacino

Which brings me to my message #2.

Message #2: Share your worth with others by serving.

Kindness is so attractive. Serving is life-giving.

Since I arrived here at the resort, I’ve asked myself a couple of times,

β€œHow else can I give value to the organization and to Maldives while I’m here?”

I took a few notes. I had a conversation with my host and he asked if I can give a

30-minute talk on β€œLoving Yourself” to all the women staff of the resort to

celebrate International Women’s Day. I joyfully said, YES!

Today, all the women staff of this luxurious 5-star resort and I will have our girl bonding party β€” no men allowed. πŸ˜… You know how it is when women get together, right? It’s hilarious.

We β€˜get’ each other. I so love being a woman. Thank God for making us women!

I’ll also give a 2-hour public speaking workshop to the select leaders of this 5-star resort tomorrow.

So yes, I’m enjoying my stay here and I’m also serving. What a beautiful combination! πŸ

A life of service is a life of meaning.

To summarize,

1. Know your worth.

2. Share your worth. Serve.

There’s one more thing I’d like to share.

Imagine you’re out on a date with your favorite person in the world.

What would make it a perfect date? What would you like to eat?

Where would you like to go? What would you like to do? What would you like to receive?

Do yourself a favor.

Date yourself and give yourself the perfect date you wanted your favorite person to give you.

May YOU be your own favorite person in the world.

May you celebrate yourself and be the most loving and kind person to yourself.

My dear fellow woman, I celebrate you!πŸŽ‰

Single, engaged, married… I celebrate you!

Sister, mother, grandmother, friend, wife, girl friend, aunt, consecrated, cousin, fiancΓ©e…. I celebrate you.

Have a party today!πŸ’•πŸŽ‰

Better yet, celebrate this special day with your female friends.

Wear your crown, Princess πŸ‘Έ!

You are amazing!!!

Love,

Sha

P.S.1 When I was in the Maldives back in 2019 and I posted a photo of me in the beach wearing shorts and a rash guard, I got teased for not wearing two-piece or those sexy outfit you see women wear in the beach.

If you’re the type who wants to wear two-piece, so be it. If you’re the type who likes to wear a more conservative outfit in the beach like me, so be it.

But please don’t do things just to fit in and be accepted. Or out of peer pressure.
Be so confident in your skin to carve your own path. Live your own values.

As for me, I know I’m sexy and rather than flaunting my body, I want to show the world my heart and my mind. Naks!

Dare to be the happiest and free-est version of you! πŸ™‚
I celebrate you!

P.S.2 Let’s celebrate with music, shall we?

Here’s one of my music videos called I Like You So Much You’ll Know It. Imagine yourself singing this to yourself.

Love yourself today! πŸ™‚
