Inspiring you to be more grateful each day

Can I share with you something personal?

This was in June 2011.

My friends and I went to an adventure park in Bohol, Philippines and did this activity called The Plunge.

The height of the platform is 200 meters. It’s called The Plunge because you will be dropped and you’d swing like a pendulum.

While the two guys were putting on my harness, they were also briefing me.

At the count of 3, we’ll lower the platform and drop you.”

I can clearly remember how I cried and pleaded,

“I changed my mind. I don’t want to do it anymore. Please don’t drop me. Nooooooooooo!!!!”

Before I knew it, they finished counting 3 and dropped me.

I was shocked!!! Woah!

But after a few seconds, I felt one with nature. I felt peace and calm.

Can you spot me?

Looking back, I’m so grateful for this crash course on courage. Indeed, courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is doing it afraid.

Is there a fear you need to face head on? Maybe a fear that you’ve been avoiding?

Maybe there’s someone you need to talk to.
Maybe there’s someone you need to let go of or someone you need to allow to enter your life again.

Maybe there’s a decision you need to make.

Maybe there’s someone you need to forgive.

Do you think it’s time to finally face that fear?

You are bigger than your fear!

Don’t let your fear cripple you and prevent you from living your life to the full.

You got this!

I’m rooting for you!

Have a great week ahead! 🙂
