Inspiring you to be more grateful each day

Happy Tuesday :)

In my email last week, I shared about 3 lights and I also shared about my singing accountability group. Naks!

I shared how my friends Mae, Divine, and I formed an accountability group wherein we share recordings of 3 songs every WWF.

That’s a total of 9 songs each week!

So far, so good!

I’m really enjoying our group.

I’m learning new songs.

I also feel like my vocal range has grown so much in one week!

I can reach higher notes now. I also have better control of my voice now.

More than improving my singing skills, I enjoy our friendship.

I enjoy talking with them and sharing our hearts thru songs.

That’s the power of having a community of accountability partners.

One of the things I am so grateful for is my community.

I have mentors I can reach out to.

I have friends who share my values and who are in a similar journey I’m in.

I have accountability partners in the different areas in my life.

(I’m still looking for Accountability Partners for dancing. Hehe!)

The saying “No man is an island” is cliche.

But it’s so true.

We are social beings.

Authentic connections are so important in order for us to thrive especially in the midst of this challenging pandemic we’re facing.

It’s good to have people you can journey with, people who see the real you and who love you just the same.

I encourage you to find areas in your life where you would like to grow.

Then look for accountability partners. Form a community.

Maybe it’s on your finances.

Maybe it’s on your health.

Maybe it’s on a certain passion.

Maybe it’s on entrepreneurship.

Find people you can journey with.

Maybe you’ve attended some of our public events and summits.

The attendees were in the thousands. I love that!

The biggest virtual event we hosted had 15,000 attendees from 49 countries! Woah!

But I also have an intimate group of people I meet every month for Masterclass and Mastermind.

They are members of my online membership club, Thrive University.

We have members who are doctors, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, OFWs, aspiring entrepreneurs, retirees, authors, etc.

This is not for everyone though.

Our main goal for Thrive University is to help the members enjoy life to the fullest, excel in their profession or business, and enrich their communities thru gratitude and self-development.

If this is something you’re interested in, you can find more details on how to join at

Your time and energy are important.

So choose carefully who you’d like to spend your time with.

Choose people who bring out the best in you.

Choose people who bring you joy and peace.

Choose people you can be authentic with.. and do the same for them.

May you find your tribe! :)

P.S. A number of people reached out to me and offered to give me one-on-one dance/workout classes. I am so grateful!

But aside from the exercise itself, what I am really looking for is to be part of a community of fitness enthusiasts who love to dance either at 6AM or 7AM since I usually rise up at 5:30AM. I want to meet new people who share my passion for dancing and for staying fit.

It’s easy to find the learning resources we need these days. I bought two dance/workout apps. But what is challenging to find is the right community, the right group of people who can journey with us.

This is what I love about Thrive University. Aside from learning from the Masterclasses, what’s so beautiful is the community we’ve built.

You get to interact with like-minded and like-hearted entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and high achievers who remain humble and hungry to learn.

The community is priceless. It will save you so much time from finding the right people because we already did the heavy lifting for you.

Our next Masterclass/Mastermind will be on Aug 28 (Sat) 6PM – 7:15PM PH/SG time. If you want to join and know more about Thrive University, simply visit

P.P.S. In case you missed it, my latest music video I See the Light is now out on YouTube. May this song make you see the ‘light’ that you are beautiful and loved.
