Inspiring you to be more grateful each day

Happy Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Do you sometimes feel like there’s too much to be done and there’s little time to do everything?
Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with problems?
Do you sometimes feel burdened with worries?

Last Saturday was such a busy day for me and my team.
I had four speaking engagements that day. Woah!

In addition to that, we also hosted the FILIPINO AUTHORS SUMMIT!

Were you there? It was a blast! ๐Ÿ™‚

What a joy it was to celebrate the graduates of The 90-Day Book Writing Challenge as they launched their books.
What a blessing it was to be supported by industry giants Sir Rex Mendoza, Atty. Alex Lacson, and Myrna “Mommy N” Natividad who joined our fun panel discussion!

Days leading to the event, I felt like jumping to work the moment I woke up.
But I made a decision to always have a date with God first thing in the morning.

In fact, the busier my day gets, the more I knew I needed to date God first!

I take a moment to be quiet and grateful, I hear Mass, then I write in my Gratitude Journal.

After my date with God, I also do some exercise!

Here’s what I tell myself on the days when I’m so busy and I feel like there’s no time to exercise.
“Honey, I know you’re busy

But your body can’t function properly if you’re not healthy
So make exercise a priority.”

Every morning
Do some walking or dancing… anything!

As long as you’re moving and sweating and laughing”

I’m loving how it’s rhyming. I think that’s the first song I’m writing! Hahaha!

(Now that the singing bug is in me, I am planning to write songs and release some original songs in God’s perfect time!)

Speaking of songs, I have a new cover song for you.
The title is Umagang Kay Ganda (Beautiful Morning).

This song was also our theme song for the Filipino Authors Summit last Saturday.

May this song bring a smile on your face and bring you joy and hope.

As long as God is with you, everyday will always be beautiful.

Guess what?! He is always with you because He is so in love with you. He loves everything about you!

Enjoy the song!
โ€‹You can watch it here

If you liked the song, can you do me a favor?

โ€‹Please leave a like and a comment via YouTube. โ€‹

I’d love to hear from you! Thank you so much! ๐Ÿ™‚

P.S. No matter how busy the day gets or no matter what you may be going through right now, there is always hope. As sure as the sun rises again tomorrow, you can always count on God’s love for you! You got this!

For our non-Filipino speakers, I had you in mind. I translated the song for you and we included the English translation in the music video.
Enjoy the song and beautiful Boracay!

P.P.S. By the way, I’m also on TikTok. Hahaha! I have little siblings who are 8 and 10 years old, respectively. Our generation gap is somehow bridged by TikTok. Lol.

TikTok is more of a venue for me to let the child in me play and have fun and unleash my most authentic self. The version of Sha whoโ€™s not afraid to be herself no matter what. No inhibitions whatsoever.
On TikTok, I sing, dance, act, and do some funny and silly stuff.

My guiding principle on TikTok is Don Bosco’s quote:

โ€œRun, jump, have all the fun you want at the right time, but do not sin!โ€

If you want the child in you to play and have fun as well, follow me there.
