Inspiring you to be more grateful each day

Happy Tuesday! 🙂

I’m here in Switzerland. The place is sooooo beautiful it looks like a postcard!

Today, I’d like to share briefly my thoughts and reflections as regards “Moving forward.”

My heart was crushed to pieces because of the elections results.

For days, I kept on crying and crying.

Today, my heart is much, much better.

Let me share with you what helped:

  1. I allowed myself to cry. I felt my pain. I was gentle and patient with myself.
  2. I allowed others to love me. A friend visited me just to give me a hug. Another friend accompanied me in the mall. Another friend called me up at 12MN and we talked until 1:30AM. My brother arranged for my transportation to the airport.
  3. I offered up everything to God. I knew there are so many things I couldn’t control. What comforts me is that I did my best and that God sees everything.

And oh, let me share with you a bit about my Switzerland adventures so far.

One of my weaknesses is that I have a hard time following directions.

I can’t read maps, either. Hahaha!
I once got lost in a mall in the Philippines and my friend had to leave work so she can fetch me.
I can’t count the number of times I couldn’t find where I parked my car.

Here in Switzerland, I feel God’s presence in a very concrete way.
He sent me random strangers to show me the way.

I met Osmond and Eva on two separate occasions and they not only helped me with directions.
They walked with me to my destination. Can you believe that?

During our less guided tour yesterday, I third wheeled a young couple Eloy and Kiara from Mexico.

They were so warm and friendly.

I super enjoyed the countryside because Eloy was good with directions.

Kiara and I were carefree with directions and we really enjoyed the view and took lots and lots of photos and videos.

This is my mood right now. 🙂

Whenever I go out, maybe God is saying,

“My favorite daughter is out on an adventure again.”

Then He tells my guardian angels,

“Keep an eye on my beloved daughter. Make sure she’s safe and she’ll have so much fun!”

Just my imagination. Hehe!

I really think He is that way with me and with you, too!

He loves us personally and intimately.

I’m His favorite. You are His, too!

Cheer up! 🙂

God loves you and He has your back.

I wish you love, joy, and peace today and everyday! 🙂

P.S. Here are two music videos, which I hope, will make you smile.
