Inspiring you to be more grateful each day

How are you? Hope you had a restful weekend.

Something beautiful happened last Friday.

I was with two of my dear friends dining in this nice buffet place in Ortigas (Philippines).

When we were about to leave, someone passed by our table and said,

“Hi, Sha! I follow you.”

We had a quick Hi, Hello and picture taking.

Her name was Elizabeth. She was with her two friends, who were her classmates in the 80s.

I learned they meet every year. What a beautiful friendship!

When Elizabeth and her friends left, my friends and I overheard Elizabeth say in a happy tone, “Nakita ko si Sha! Buo na araw ko.” (I saw Sha. She made my day!)

Awww… I was touched when I heard that.

My friend who was with me asked, “Sha, how do you get to inspire people?”

I love how my friend asks really great questions.

I want to share my answer with you.

To be honest, I don’t really wake up and say, “Today, I want to inspire people.”

My goal is simple. I want to be the most authentic version of myself and I simply share who I am and what I do through my books, talks, videos, online courses, social media posts, etc.
And I am grateful I get to inspire people in the process.

When I went home that night, I was interviewed at the Inspiring Millions Show, the show that celebrates brilliant minds from around the world.

At the end of the show, I was given an award called Inspiring Humanitarian Award by the World Humanitarian Drive (WHD).

World Humanitarian Drive (WHD) is an International NGO founded by Dr. Abdul Basit Syed. It has operations in 12 countries and its primary vision is to promote peace, education, and trade harmony initiatives globally.

I checked the Awards tab on their website and I saw that their patrons include Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela.

Wow! Such an honor to be seen and recognized by WHD.

Thank you for affirming me and inspiring me, WHD! 🙂

Viva, the host of Inspiring Millions Show, was such a brilliant interviewer.

We were able to cover a lot of questions in an hour!

I enjoyed every minute of the show. You can watch the interview replay here: https://www.facebook.com/WHD.org.uk/videos/1685649305112214

Hope this post inspired you! 🙂

I wish you love, joy, and peace today and everyday!

Cheers,
Sha
