Inspiring you to be more grateful each day

Hope you’re having a great week so far.
Today, I’d like to talk about this phrase popularized by Marie Kondo — Spark joy!”

“I have a lot of clothes in my closet but I have nothing to wear!”

Have you ever felt this?
I sure did. Hehe!

I’ve been wanting to declutter my closet as one of my birthday gifts to myself.

For some reason, I couldn’t seem to do it on my own.

Surprise! Surprise!
My dear friend Ren, a certified KonMari Consultant, visited my home last Friday.

She helped me declutter my bedroom and closet.

We had a lot of fun and we were done decluttering my closet and bedroom in three hours!
We discarded lots of clothes I no longer need — which I then donated to charity.
Some clothes were used only once for music videos, some were not used at all, and some were my favorites.

Before: I used to get stressed out when I open my closet.

Now: I get so giddy with joy (kinikilig ako) when I open my closet.

I now look forward to doing the laundry and folding the clothes!

My closet and bedroom spark so much joy!
Thanks to my friend Ren’s expertise and contagious joy.

What is it something you do that brings you so much joy?

When you do it, you’re in the flow.

You don’t notice the time because you’re so immersed and fully present in what you’re doing.

For me, I can share two things — writing and speaking.

I love writing books, articles, and newsletters.

I love speaking for companies, conferences, and summits!

They spark so much joy!

Here’s what I found out.

When you do something that sparks joy in your heart, you also impart that joy to others.

May you find something that sparks joy for you! 🙂

If you’ve already found it, may you continue to do it and serve others thru it.

I wish you love, joy, and peace today and everyday! 🙂

P.S. I have two announcements:

  1. So many people want to write books but they get overwhelmed just thinking about it.
The truth is, writing a book can be so fun and joyful to do!

We’ve helped over a hundred first-time authors write, publish, and launch their books. They had a lot of FUN writing their books. That’s one of the key things I made sure when I designed my signature online course

The 90-Day Book Writing Challenge. We’ll reopen the registration in a few days.

Did your heart just dance with joy when you read this part? I feel you! Hehe!

I’ll share the registration link in my TuesDate newsletter next week. 🙂

Meanwhile, you can watch the highlight of the Global Authors Summit in-person event 2019 here:

Here’s the highlight of the Global Authors Summit Virtual event in 2022.

Both events showcased the book launches of some of the most recent graduates of The 90-Day Book Writing Challenge.

I also invited my global author friends from the U.S., Canada, Singapore, India, Australia, etc to grace the events.

2. I’m doing a one-hour Masterclass on “How to START Writing Your Book Even if You’re Not a Writer” tomorrow, Nov 16, 7PM PH/SG time. If you want to see if book writing is for you, you can register here
