Inspiring you to be more grateful each day

Happy Friday :)

How is your week going?

My TuesDate newsletter is coming to you on a Friday. Hehe!

I’m still here in the U.S. and I’ve so many stories I want to share! OMG!

I guess I am wired to share stories.

Growing up, my Mama listened to my stories for at least two hours each day.
She was a super woman. I didn’t know how she managed to do that even if she was a full-time wife, mother, teacher,

and we had a little garden and little piggery and poultry then.

I remember how, whenever I arrived home from school, the first words that came out of my mouth were,

“Ma! I’m here!”

Or

“Ma, I’m home. Where are you?”

She listened to me with so much enthusiasm and amazement.

We would talk while she was watering the plants or feeding our farm animals or preparing our dinner.

I followed her wherever she went. I was also very clingy towards her.
I was always hugging her, especially her chubby arms. Hehe!

She laughed at my anecdotes.

She listened to me intently as if every word I said was important.

I felt so loved, cherished, and important in her presence.

She gave me the gift of unconditional love and listening.

She gave me the gift of her precious time and attention.

I received so much from her.

That’s why I believe I have a lot to share.

It’s so natural for me to share stories thru writing and speaking.

Thank you, Ma!

We celebrated the World Gratitude Day on September 20.

I just want to send you this quick email to say,
