Inspiring you to be more grateful each day

Happy Tuesday,

How’s your day going?

I feel so good and energized because my sleep is back to normal. Praise God! 🙂

Last night, I slept at 10PM (turned off my wifi and put my phone on airplane mode at 8PM).

I woke up at 6AM feeling refreshed!

Today, I’d like to share my insights on Productivity.

Last week, I was invited to give a talk on Work from Home Productivity.

My definition of productivity before was,

“Productivity means accomplishing something. Ticking off items on your To Do list.”

Oftentimes, we attach our self worth to our achievements, our titles, and our productivity.

I used to be like that, too!

I used to measure my day based on how productive I was.

These days, a lot has changed!

I also redefined what productivity means for me.

“Productivity means living in the moment and being fully present.”

“Productivity means being content with how your day is and how your day was at the end of the day.”

Productivity means feeling at peace knowing who you are or what you did today is enough.”

I came up with those new definitions one night while I was having dinner and I was having a conversation with God.

I asked, “God, what did I do today? Are you pleased with me? Are you smiling at me right now?”

I reviewed my day and I realized I didn’t do much. Maybe just 10% of how productive I usually am.

But I was amazed because I felt so at peace and content.

That day, I wasn’t impatient with myself and with my pace.

I didn’t rush anything. I was just living in the moment.

I noticed the little things I would usually easily take for granted because I was “busy” ticking off items on my To Do list.

I enjoyed doing the dishes. I enjoyed brushing my teeth.

I enjoyed showering. I enjoyed watching my little indoor water falls. I enjoyed my food.

During that conversation with God, I felt God was pleased with me.

I was also so pleased with myself. I freed myself from defining my day based on how much I accomplished.

Rather, I reflected on my day based on how I enjoyed each moment.

Have you been “productive,”? 🙂

In other words, have you been living in the moment?

Are you fully present?

Do you feel at peace with how your day is and how your day was?

The good news is, you are loved whether you are productive or not. You are loved by the Greatest Lover of all!

May you feel His love today and may you love and pamper yourself.

P.S.1 My latest music video You are Loved is now up on YouTube, Spotify, and all major streaming platforms. If you’ve ever doubted yourself and your worth, this song is for you. I thank my friend Marj for introducing this song to me. Marj, Maan, and I first sang this song on Maan’s birthday last year!

It became my favorite song. I had my low days last year. During those times when I asked myself “Who am I?” this song reminded me who I am. I am loved.

If you ever doubt who you are, may this song remind you who you are. You are loved!

I must have played this song so many times that even my little 8-year old brother memorized the tune. He hummed along with me every time I sang it.

I’m so happy to share this song with you! 🙂

P.S.2 Every month, I meet with an intimate group of entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and professionals for a LIVE Masterclass and Mastermind.
